I Love Gelt

Maybe I have been living under a rock here but when did Hanukkah become such a hot topic in the food world? I've personally always made sure my house was stocked up on brisket, donuts, latkes, apple sauce and dreidel shaped cookies, but now the pressure has been lifted off. All my favorite food blogs have been talking about Hanukkah food events! NY Magazine has listed some celebrations for us chosen people. The two that sound most intriguing to me are the Menorah Horah and the Beer & Latkes. Grub Street also has a list of restaurants that are getting into the Hanukkah spirit.
