I'm sick & tired of living under my mom's cooking shadow, so i whipped up these scallion pancakes. ALL.....BY.... MYSELF! Not saying that my skills aren't super impressive, but these pancakes were pretty simple to make. It was as easy as Ichi, Ni, San! So basically anyone out there can make these. Most likely won't be as good as mine, but you can try ;)

Doing It Right

Found my future lover boy on the beach this past weekend. There is no doubt in my mind that he deserved a post on Burrnt Toast. Look at him sporting that backwards hat... and those biceps! If only guys my age could work the shovel like this baby does.

  I would like to introduce to you my friend Katie Cybul. She has been awaiting the day she appears on Burrnt Toast. Well, here you go Katie...this one is for you! This picture was taken July 4th weekend (pre-dinner sesh) in Sag Harbor, NY. Although I do not have pictures of the delicious food we consumed that night, I am just going to tell you that you bitches missed out. My meal rocked and and I got a tan this weekend ;)

Hoo Hoo Ha Ha

I'm all about being adventurous. When I go to get ice cream I'm not going to be a pussy and get chocolate or vanilla. I do it up big and go with the flavors people usually don't go for. While many people out there like Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey (obvs cause it has chocolate bananas and shit), I don't see many people who order just banana ice cream. Well, Uhm... I DO! I am telling you, no lies...banana ice cream is the real deal. Yeah, if you think about it, it sounds gross. Imagine someone walking up to you and them asking, "Oh what kind of ice cream is that?" And you go "banana." Thats pretty fucking weird. Maybe if you mask it with some chocolate sprinkles people won't bother you, but the matter of the fact is don't discriminate. Take my recommendation and get some pure, creamy banana ice cream. 

PS: for all those wondering out there, the flavor to my heart is mint choco chip :)
