Chicka YeAh!

Interning in Time Square didn't really have its perks until right now! Viacom is 44th & Broadway... The new Shake Shack is 44th & 8th...This means it's only one block away from me! The Food God's answered my prayers. I can finally get a decent lunch outside of my building and by decent I mean freakin' amazing! Juicy burgers and creamy custards - oh how I dream of the day it opens its doors (summer 2010) !!

Bond No. 9

My favorite brand of perfumes is hands down Bond No. 9.... Discovering their scents a few years ago while wondering Bleeker Street one summer day, I couldn't help but fall in love with their colorful and exciting city themed fragrances. I'm posting this in honor of their new release of Andy Warhol: Montauk (bottle inspired by his sunset collection).  What is special about this specific scent is the fact that it is unisex. I recommend picking up a bottle of Bond No. 9 at your local Saks or going to their store in Manhattan. 

Home Cookin'

Sharnie and I busted up the kitchen for our last dinner together with the girls before leaving to go home for the summer. Sharnie went the seafood route with crab salad in a endive cup and scallops on creamy polenta with a side of asparagus. I went the my "heritage route" with spanish empanadas and jewish rugelah (yes, I know they look like cinnabuns....they're not!). Dinner was a success. Everyone loved the food and my rugelah was cleared out. 
PS: success to my rugelah recipe: 1 cup of vanilla ice cream in the dough
