Home Cookin'

Sharnie and I busted up the kitchen for our last dinner together with the girls before leaving to go home for the summer. Sharnie went the seafood route with crab salad in a endive cup and scallops on creamy polenta with a side of asparagus. I went the my "heritage route" with spanish empanadas and jewish rugelah (yes, I know they look like cinnabuns....they're not!). Dinner was a success. Everyone loved the food and my rugelah was cleared out. 
PS: success to my rugelah recipe: 1 cup of vanilla ice cream in the dough
